Luke Bennett
Director
E: luke@sw19.com
I’m Luke Bennett, Founder and Director of SW19.
I entered estate agency in 1998 and launched SW19 in 2005 with a clear vision: to create Wimbledon’s most formidable independent property brand and the most respected.
Nearly three decades in the industry has given me something that can’t be taught, instinct. I understand markets, leverage, psychology and timing. I know when to push. I know when to hold. And I know how to close.
Wimbledon is not just my patch, it’s my territory. Street by street, transaction by transaction, I’ve built a reputation for delivering under pressure and protecting my clients’ position at every stage. Sellers trust me to maximise value. Landlords trust me to protect their investments. Buyers know they are dealing with someone who understands the game.
Negotiation is my arena. Controlled. Strategic. Relentless when required.
Results are not accidental, they are engineered.
SW19 remains fiercely independent and family-run, with my wife Clare and I deeply involved in the business every day. We answer to our clients, not shareholders. Our growth has been built on reputation, loyalty and performance, and that reputation is guarded fiercely.
Property isn’t just my career.
It’s what I’ve built.
And I intend to keep raising the standard.
Karl Martin NFoPP
Business Development Director

I have worked in the SW19 area selling properties for over 25 years and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I am always passionate about every property I deal with and fully committed to following the transaction all the way through from start to finish. Its important to make sure the whole experience is personable and that’s why I love working for an independent agent where the client always come first. Outside of work I love the tranquility of fishing next to quiet lake or cruising around the surrey hills on my motorbike and then back home to cook a Sunday lunch and relax with my family.
Gary Allen
Assistant Manager
E: gary@sw19.com
With over 13 years working in residential property, I've built my career around strong local knowledge, long-standing relationships and a simple focus on getting results for my clients. I enjoy being involved in every stage of a transaction, from the first conversation through to completion, making sure everything keeps moving and that people feel informed and supported along the way.
Colliers Wood is an area I know particularly well. I spent a lot of time here growing up, visiting local restaurants, swimming at Wimbledon Leisure Centre and playing Sunday football locally, so my connection to the neighbourhood goes back long before my career in property. That familiarity gives me a good understanding of what makes the area special, whether it's the strong sense of community or the character of the different streets and homes.
Clients often say they appreciate my straightforward and calm approach. Moving home can be stressful, so I try to keep things clear, keep people updated and deal with issues quickly when they arise. Whether I'm working with sellers, buyers or landlords, my aim is always to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible.
Outside of work I like to stay active. I play squash and hockey when I can, enjoy a competitive game of table tennis and spend time reading. I read across all genres, although crime fiction is a particular favourite. Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series and JD Kirk's books are always high on my list. I enjoy the attention to detail in their writing, and the discipline and focus I take from both sport and reading carry through into the way I approach negotiations and seeing deals through.
